  1. Hi, Pretty new to working on equipment but have just got hold of some mint (probably unused) Forte II speakers in the UK (very hard to find here!) Could you let me know your findings re bracing? Also, if these speakers are now possibly 25+ years, but unused should I think about replacing crossovers? I would appreciate your insights, Many thanks, Stephen
  2. Hi, all. I've just realised that the question I posed a week or so ago has been answered but I hadn't switched on the notification button so asked the question again. Sorry, folks. Stephen
  3. Hello from the UK. I'm a Klipsch newbie and have just acquired an unused pair of these wonderful speakers. I've looked online but can't see an answer to my question: Can the risers be filled with sand, then sealed, so making a solid base, or is the cavity part of the speaker design? Apologies if this is going over old ground. Cheers, Stephen
  4. Hi, Has anyone considered filling the stock Forte II stands/risers with sand and then sealing them? I am considering this but will it alter the performance of the speakers?
  5. Hi, A Klipsch newbie here. I'm in the UK and have just landed a pair of immaculate, and little used Forte II speakers. My question is about the stands. If the speakers were to stand on a solid floor would it be a good idea to fill the bases with sand and then seal or is the cavity part of the speaker system? Thanks.
