Hi,
I use Watco oil for mine. Cant remember the actual name, but it is along the lines of rejuvinating oil, or something like that. Watco also makes a lemon oil, which works well. I have used this since 1986, and it works perfect.
I oil mine about every six months.

Thanks Tom.
Those all hit home for me, after living in Ohio for 36 years. I think I'll go get me a "pop" and eat a "buckeye".

My feeling is that if the band wants to find a new lead singer this way - let them. Not to mention the extra media hype they receive by doing it in the form of a reality show. A lot of young music listeners have probably never heard of INXS and this is a good way of exposing themselves to this demographic. I think they are onto something here.
By the way, take a look and listen to Deanna on this show - she is one heck of a singer, whether she becomes their new lead singer or not.

Amen Micheal.

Just checking to see if anyone else is watching this show. There is some good talent on there. It surprised me that INXS is willing to entertain the thought of a female lead singer. I like the idea myself.
I am usually not into the reality show scene, but this one has me interested.

Boston Stoker (SW Ohio Brand) - Costa Rican Blend.
For regular store bought - Maxwel House Slow Roast (best mass produced coffee I have ever had)

BS Button,
Nakamichi STASIS in a receiver, or separates is FABULOUS with Klipsch. The STASIS is a Nelson Pass design (Threshold) and sounds great with Heritage. I have them on my Heresys and LaScalas. You will not be dissapointed.

Amy - My Wife and I are the ones to the left of Agent Eagle.
-
My Wife and I both chose "A" due to more defined midrange and tighter bass... better overall presentation.

I can't find anyone in my every day life that appreciates hi-end audio. I have to come here to remind myself that I am not the only one out there.
-
I know its a little after the fact now, but you might consider going with Heresys in that size room, plus you have a sub to fill out the low end. Something you might want to consider.
-
I vote Heresy, mainly because they are more detailed sounding throughout the frequency spectrum. Sure they lack a little on the low end, but you could always add a sub later.

Be careful with that waterpick. Before the candle thing, my wife stuck a waterpick in my ear and DID NOT have the steam adjusted to low and I thought the water was going to shoot through my ear and out the other side of my head. VERY PAINFUL TO THE EAR DRUM! USE CAUTION.

My Wife uses ear candles on me about every six months. It really works well. The tip that goes into your ear, barely goes in your ear hole. Much less intrusive than a Qtip. It's kind of wild laying there and hearing a flame burning in your ear. Quite noticable when complete; I can hear upper frequencies much better. Try it!

I know where you are. Originally I am from the Dayton / Beavercreek area. We used to go down and shop at Eastgate, Forest Fair and any other place my wife could find to spend money.

Tom,
Yes, Accusport is still in business. There is a couple in our church who work there, but I am not affiliated in any way. What part of Cincy do you live in? Sorry, Tom - Just noticed you said south east Cinn. You will probably beat me. I'll be driving my wife's 4 cyl. SUV.

psg,
All my kids love this movie. Their ages are 8, 11 and 13. I have always been a fan of the musical. (obviously - avatar) I thought the movie was quite good; better than I expected. Sounded really good in the Klipsch equipped theater I saw it in.

Al,
Why don't you leave Bob alone. He produces a fine product at a price point that is attainable for most people. I know that you produce a fine product yourself, but to bash Bob and the rest of us that have bought networks from him, seems a bit distasteful.

XMAN,
Thanks for the info. I have been toying with this idea myself, since I also sit about 10 feet away. Sounds like a good weekend project.

What is Shapiro's? Did I miss something last year?

"Rob - The Chorus are made the same as the Forte, with rear passive radiator."
NOT CORRECT!
The original Chorus had NO passive radiator and was ported in the front, the latter Chorus II used a 15" passive radiator in the back.
------------------------------------------------------------------
My bad... I forgot about that. It's been a while since I have seen a Chorus I. Thanks for pointing that out to me.
-
"The box around the Fortes is not a good bet. I'd pursue a speaker change: for example, use Chorus with their front ported design."
Rob - The Chorus are made the same as the Forte, with rear passive radiator.
I would go with the Heresys up front. Another option would be to score some Cornwalls or La Scalas if you have room on your front wall.
-
Going back to the original question posed here... I love my La Scalas! I agree with most of the other posts touting Cornwalls as having "more" bass. I personally feel however, that the La Scalas have more "accurate" bass; tight and full down to around 45 - 50 Hz, which for me is fine. I have a sub to fill in the rest when I want it, but most of the time it stays off. I can only describe the midrange as "sublime" and full of detail. I cannot comment on how the Khorn bass is more, or less accurate, because I don't have them... yet.

I'll bet that thing goes for $800. Not that I would pay that much, but you never know what people are going to bid. I had a pair of HBR Heresy's on ebay several years ago and got $825 for them. They were not worth that much to me, but I guess they were to the guy who bought them.
