  2. This MAY be the same guy who was unloading hundreds of LP's who was also in Pickerington.  I was the first one in about 1.5 years ago and the guy gave me two hours to look thru these:   Now double what you see!  He had tons!

I put the hustle on 'em.  No talkin just lookin and pullin.  So he decided to help me by taking them and stacking them for me.  Only problem was if it was something really good he put them in his "keeper" tub.  Then he was adjusting prices on them as we went so I had him start diff piles so I'd know what I was spending.  In all, it wasn't a bad day but he called "time" exactly 2 hours from the start.  I got there 20 minutes early yet he wouldn't let me go down to look until the "correct" time.  Even told me to come back in 20 minutes if you can believe that.  Overall a nice guy but just a bit quirky w/a nice home and a garage full of receivers, etc he bought at auctions.  The ONLY reason I'm saying anything is because he did have a crap ton of CD's but wasn't selling them yet, the room was almost the same exact color of gray and the racks looked the same as the pic.  Just a heads up.  I'd venture to say he's already sold the majority of the good stuff if he only wants $150 for the lot.  Or...  ?  He was even nice enough to call me back and offer me more that hadn't sold 3 months later!  Seriously???  If you're going msg me and we can compare names...  :)

Didn't see any polka music though!  hahahaha

  3. OSU'S post out w/a concussion so we step up and play well.  Then it begins once again.  3-4 uncalled for turnovers? Showboatin slam! Doubled up and lost it! Stepped on the baseline! 7'1" dude takes it away from you on an inbounds? Seriously? Think they won the Natty after that s*^& show? Lawdy, lawdy, lawdy! Better get some rest and get their heads back in the game before tomorrow. blue even had a gun foul out? Come on man!  DISCIPLINE WINS BALL GAMES!

  4. Peter Green ripped this one out in 1970 his first after leaving Fleetwood Mac.  Totally free form and unrestrained with him, I think, making a fashion statement.  Great album with a very different sound.

  5. Welllllll, I kinda declined a friends live-in of her Bday party tonite.  Schitt happens but I wasn't feelin it.  Just kinda mentioned soooo I didn't swallow the hook.  Time to get MY groove on instead of spinnng for everyone else.  Sure they love the tunes how could they not???  lol  Feelin a lil "me" time tonight!  :)

Been a while and with his recent passing I felt I kinda owed it to him.  Such a great guy workin out on that lil Les Paul Jr.  Felix Papallardi like to take the credit for his work but Leslie West had a following before Felix.  Mountain & "Twin Peaks" is always a fav.  So many contributing artists on this album it's kinda amazing in itself.   http://www.bluesblastmagazine.com/leslie-west-soundcheck-album-review/

"SoundCheck" has some really great tunes for sure!   :)

"Still Climbing" is his 15th LP released in 2013 and another great LP of his.  One of the founding members of Mountain NEVER had a problem pulling in the guns for his albums.  He just jams in his own way and gets it done EVERYtime!  Lucky to get one signed.  It's a fav as is "Mountain."   :)

  6. When I was shooting in the military I caught one that still amazes me and many others who have seen it.  Decided I was going to try and catch a tracer round coming out the barrel of a mini-gun in a Huey.  Every 7th round is a tracer.  Slowed the shutter speed down to get the barrel blur and hit the motor drive.  I ran about 6 rolls of B&W film playing, went into the lab, ran the film and BAM I got lucky as crapola.  Caught a round just as it was exiting one of the barrels.  Some said fake but most believed me.  I printed the strip just to prove my point.  It was the real deal and I'll have to find the print.  It's here somewhere.  All before the digital/puter stuff today.  EVERYone with a phone today has a camera and many pros are using wide and telephoto adapters, which fit over the phone lens.  Couple guys I know at SI use them all the time or did.

  7. 67 here today, which is insane.  Nice 2.4# Sirloin goin down on the grill shortly.  That should last me a day or two.  Drove 40 miles this morning round trip to hit a Lowes for yard fertilizer and zero places had any out.  Came home and hit the local TSC and they had just what I was looking for.  Go figure.

Cub Cadet came home yesterday after the once over.  Head gasket, 3 new deck blades, new deck belts, new voltage regulator, oil, air filter & what not.  Can't wait to get that bill.  Purrs like a kitten though.  Last time was about 6 years ago.  lol  Dumped the fertilizer in the spreader and took a drive.  Beautiful day here!

Thought I was gonna run the table w/my haircut @ 3 but not so much.  Walked in and found out it's tomorrow.  Guess I can wait a day for my lap dance that comes w/every haircut.  Yea, she IS that good looking and takes it well.  lol  Done & won so back to pathetically worthless again.  :)
