  1. I've got faith in ya @grasshopper! Supposedly warming up and might hit 70 around here. Next week "they're" saying maybe high of 80 for a couple days. MAYBE it's finally a GO. Going to take a shot and open up the french doors just to air the place out a bit. Probably a mistake but time to piss off the neighbors. Then it's time to break out the sweeper and hit the kitchen a lick. Can't call the cleaning lady since she passed away a few months ago. She told me she'd been sooo tired lately one day when I called. 3 days later just died at home. Crazy! I got this. Kinda, maybe. No tomato plants here for a while. Ketchup @MicroMara? Seriously? lol
  2. Picked this one up just for a different listen. 16 acoustic tracks works for me and I'm a bit light in the U2 category. Otherwise... Yes, someone in the hood is out mowing their yard? That's nuts! 😂
  3. @MicroMara only you brother. Only you! 😂
  4. Not a real big U2 fan but snagged this one just for the acoustic versions. It's actually pretty good! Enjoy!
  5. Very welcome @MicroMara. That's what this place is all about isn't it? It's what started and instilled the process in all of us. What a motley crew we are. Teachers, red-headed step children, engineers, a mix just sharin the love. H3ll we've even got our own camel jockey! Can't touch that anywhere else! Always good spending time w/like-minded left-of-center people. 😂 😇 Dang skippy this Coltrane's great! Winding it down and she's slammin on that harp!
  6. Ok, got that outta my system! Snagged this Alice Coltrane on Verve and got another nice lil surprise! Another amazing lp! Journey in Satchidananda is the fourth solo album by Alice Coltrane. Four of the album's tracks were recorded at the Coltrane home studios in Dix Hills, New York, in November 1970, while the remaining track was recorded live at the Village Gate in July of that year. It was released by Impulse! Records in 1971. NICE and smoooooth!
  7. Now I have two. Didn't even blink. Painless. hahaha Can't believe they had one left. 😂 Inserting my disclaimer here: It may or may not work with your tastes but I did mine. They're allll great imo. lol
  8. Now it's back to reality with this one. Been waiting patiently and scored. Jump w/o question!!! NOW if ya want it. Limited edition of 1500 numbered copies and I snagged 1018. WOW! That's it! I'm not EVEN gonna show any disrespect by posting a youtube. Look it up. Just might work for ya.
  9. Ya ever get that feeling when ya unzip one, hear 3 notes and think ut oh? Yea, maybe I have two. Guess I'll find out when I put it away. Heck I've got two, sometimes 3-4 of the same thing. Sound familiar? 😂 Yea, this guy right here is a trouble maker for sure. He can flat cook and so far its only gotten better. Side two is rollin right on by in great form. Well worth the money but it usually is with him.
  10. Just tryin to drag you over to her old man too @KROCK. You need a plate full of swamp reggae every once in a while. May as well jump on board cause I know ya enjoyed Susan. Gonna get you yet! 😂 😂 😂 Getting ready to dive into this pile and see what shakes out. It's only money. Ya can't take it with you but you sure can share the joy and love with someone when you're gone. Time to move my old bones and fire things up. Darn this laptop on the coffee table works wonders for my soundstage. 😂 Check this kid out til I get back. 😂 He can run the lyrics and crank out the juice. Just like fresh squeezed OJ. I'm a bit partial to lefties though. This kid's goin places for sure. Check him out on youtube. Ben Howard I see you lurkin... 😂
  11. Just about time to catch a blade John? Good boy, just in time for Easter. 😂 @grasshopper glad you're "back." At least you're on the mend and it's back to normal at your place. That back garbage is rough. Weather? About 50 today at some point then warming up for the weekend. Might have to open the french doors and let the hood know I survived another winter. The oldest and fam are slipping this way for Easter dinner so had to work that menu out. No stress here. lol Picked up a ham for the grill so shouldn't be too tough.
  12. Ok, just one more. A lil John Mayer instead of Police for a twist in a good way.
  13. JoeB? Beth's hot but. Boz Scaggs Phil Collins nailed his first release in 1981? Joe B w/a lil Sloe Gin live @ Red Rocks Ferry Cross the Mersey from 1965 by Pat Metheny? Say whaaa? Gerry & the Pacemakers did that! Lee Ritenour? Sure, let's roll..
  14. It's time! lol Roadsongs is the second live album by The Derek Trucks Band, released in 2010. The album features many songs off the band's most recent album, Already Free. The album was recorded over two nights in April 2009 at Chicago's Park West.
  15. Johnny Hartford? Yupppp! Gave a lil bit of life to Glen Campbell. lol He did it all.
  16. THIS Salty Dog John... lol & Martha White... lol
  17. Could throw in a lil "Martha White" and "Salty Dog" while your at it. Gotta love Lester and Earl!
  18. Good idea @MeloManiac. Eliminate stirring the cream in by using some good vibrations.
  19. About time to break out the butts and brisket! Enjoy! A lil Easter Sunday brisket moosic to help set the mood.
  20. The House of Mugs in Collettsville, NC. Lookie what I found @Tarheel! Next time you get that bubble out and you're looking for a road trip? I got ya hooked right up!
