All my Stihl gear works just peachy. About 2 pulls and it runs. That works for me. Crashed about 3 last nite, peeked at the clock about 430 then rolled out at 1. 1230 now so here I go again. Heading to the crib shortly cause this is nuts!

Picked up a nice lil 24" minty Stihl Chainsaw from a woman having a garage sale. $50 I asked what was wrong with it and she said her husband couldn't start it. She said he wasn't home but I could stop back tomorrow and talk to him about it. I paid her and ran! Change the plug and yank it!

Welcome back George! Sounds like you survived that whirlwind tour again. @grasshopperNo phone service wouldn't bother me. Low tech is the way to go on just about everything IF you can find what your looking for. These places today are taking everyone another place even though they don't want to go there. Chainsaws? The kid next door is an electrical engineer so everything he buys is electric. He was out trimming bushes then blowing the yard w/battery operated tools. I did see Stihl had an electric model out. Just crazy to even think about using an electric chainsaw. George would prolly approve since Stihl is a German company. It's all I run and no problemo's so far. There is the tried and true ax yanno.

Just opened ANOTHER box full of albums. This is getting out of hand! Hopping around on one foot and trying to spin, flip and spin some more has turned into work. Lately the McIntosh receiver has been carrying the load. A few years ago the local station was sold and a company from Columbus, Oh purchased it. They've stepped up the game considerably around here. 60's & 70's rock format and they're killing it. That's the upside. The downside is, as usual, more local yokel's blowing about their businesses. I'll be spinning a MoFi Iron Butterfly "In-a-Godda-Da-Vida soon. Carry on!

@JohnJ Lee Greenwood is a hoot especially if you have zero clue who he is. Shot OSU/AirForce at the Liberty bowl in Memphis one year. I was hangin on the sideline during halftime. While they were setting up the show this lil dude walks up in a white suite. We wound up telling jokes and laffin our rears off then they announced him doing that song. He said gotta go and told me he had to get to work, shook my hand, walked out on the field and took over. He killed it and left. Yea, he's a hoot. Joke was on me but he started it! lol

Wellllll, my mailman survived the VetsAid w/Joe and the Gang last night. He said Joe actually played second with Dave Grohl after The Breeder's opened the show. Then it was The Black Keys and NIN. They all closed it then en mass on the stage. He said it was an amazing show. Just like back in the day! lol Just another day at the office!
