  1. tech73x, I have a Rotel RMB-1095 for Sale in the garage. Checkout "Rotel for Sale."
  2. Just curious, don't have them but had a salesman at a dealership tell me one of his sales associates had a brand new pair in an apartment that he wants to get rid of. Don't know the cost but I am going there next weekend. I will find out and post the $$. I think CW's would be a better fit in my situation anyway. Rob
  3. I am looking at new amps as well. Have you considered a B & K 200.7 S2? About the same cost as the sunfire.
  4. Don't have them but I understand that the Khorn must be put directly into corners. What happens to the sound if one of them is against a wall but 24-26" from the actual corner? Thanks........

    Amp Vote

The rotel has been a good amp for me. I am just ready to upgrade...........not that any of my equipment is bad or outdated etc. Just doing it because I can. As for the input from everyone.....thanks again. My plan is to do the following and I always follow through on a plan. Replace RF-7 system with Cornwall III's (Main) Herseys III's (Center and Surrounds) Good fit for my room size!!!!

Shameless........What were you thinking. LOL! Pre/pro Amp will be my last purchase. As for the stereo amp, I will keep that in mind. I haven't decided on B & K or Sunfire. I sure did like the Anthem and Lexicon amps I heard today. As for sunfire I remember the old carver amps kicking A**.

Interesting threads. I went to the local audio shop today and compared the Lexicon RX-7 and Anthem MCA 50. They were also trying to sell me the Anthem P5 but only had the P2 in stock (This thing is a monster). Checked out the Anthem D2 which is sweet. Going to checkout Sunfire and B & K this weekend.

What are you trying to say here? I am interested on you thoughts. Right now I have the RF-7's but I am returning to the Heritage line. I have owned Hersey II's and one of my friends had Lascala's. Lascala's and K-horns are too big for my room so I was thinking of CW's as my best choice. Thanks

Yes the amp will be the next thing I will be selling. I will be putting it up for sale in 2-3 weeks in the garage. The amp is a tank, sounds good with my RF-7's. As with other Rotel Amps this one has the grounding issue. But is solved by using a 3 to 2 cheater plug. Otherwise it is a good amp.
  14. This is so true. I had 2 pair of Hersey II's. Got married....got Bose. Finally conviced her on RF-7's. We got divorced last year......I will be buying CW III's soon. LMAO!!!!!!!
  15. Trying to get an idea on amps. Right now I am running a Rotel RMB-1095. What amps would be a step up in the $2000-$4000 range. New Front speakers will most likely be CWIII's with surrounds and center from the heritage line as funds become available. 5-channel solid state. Sorry tube guys!!!!! B & K? Sunfire?
  16. What would be a fair asking price for a complete RF-7 HT System in near mint condition? Thanks, Rob
  17. What about the Hersey III's? The bad thing is no dealers have Heritage demos. The're willing to "Special Order" them!!!! Again I do have a complete RF-7 system (For Sale if I go Heritage) that I like for movies but they lack the mids when listening to music especially female voices, but I new that when I bought them............ But now that I am listening to more music I feel the desire to change my system and return to the heritage lineup. Plus I don't have the wife factor anymore.......LMAO!!!!!! Rob
  18. Don't have the space for the K-Horns. Buy in one swoop is for me!
  19. Not me dude, I live in Maryland.
  20. And the dilemma begins......... I have a complete HT speaker system consisting of RF-7, RC-7, RS-7, and RSW-15 all in Black and in excellent to mint condition. I have the original boxes also. What would be a fair price for this system? Why am I selling it? I seem to be listening to more music these days and I miss the Heritage sound. So now that I am selling the HT system, what speakers from the Heritage line should I get? I have owned Hersey II's and Forte II's. One of my friends had Lascala's back in 1987 and I always liked those. Thanks, Rob

  22. Hey guys, Need to downsize. Moving into a small apartment. Asking $800.00; TV is 2.5 years old and was hardly used the first two years. I live in between D.C. and Baltimore so if you are from this area and want a great TV then PM me and we can talk. It also has a service warranty until March of 2008. I still have the original box too. Thanks, PYRO
