I got my 4.1 on ebay on august of 2002.. It was a great deal at the time! While Retail was $240-260 I got them on ebay for $175(They are new too!). You gotta love ebay!

heh, If you have kids.. keep them ON! Those little hands could puncture the paper covers or they could poke it with a pen or something deadlier. Personally, I cannot notice a difference with them on or off. So I prefer to leave it on just in case some kids some into my room.

Wow 4 years and still going strong... Enjoy your speakers hopefully for a longer time

Anyway, I just wanted to let you guys know - I had a pretty busy day today, picking up the speaks and all... I just feel a little bad they werent klipsch though . Maybe next time. Stop worrying about the speakers, probably the more you nitpick and worry about it.. the faster it will blow up.

Audigy 2 + Klipsch 4.1 is an awesome combination.

Audigy 2 is also an awesome sound card, but it cost 3 times as much as the Turtle Beach Santa Cruz. Having Advanced HD support for gaming, DvD audio support, and cleeaaarrr sound makes up the extra cash spent.

Thanks! ---------------- I read this article in Computer Gaming World(the magazine started to suck now though) a while back, and they had this review of this external sound board called the "Yamaha RP-U200 CAVIT External Audio Soundboard Reciever" it doubles as a sound card and a decoder. I am not sure of the price.. but I think it is around 400 dollars.. a bit steep maybe. This is the only external sound board i know besides the Extigy. Try www.yamaha.com and do a search on this sound board for more infomation.

If they don't make the promedia 4.1s anymore.. then I wonder how does it still sell new sets on ebay? All the retail outlets I have been to don't have em anymore though.
