  1. GLOW AUDIO AMP ONE UPGRADED, mint condition, all black $400 This is a one-year old, single ended, class A, EL84 integrated tube amplifier (latest version). It may be used as an amplifier, preamp, or headphone amplifier. It has been upgraded to Special Edition specs with GE 5670 driver tubes; however I preferred the longer lasting 6P14P-EV power tubes to the Mullards. The power output is 2 x 5 wpc. On my efficient speakers (Forte) and mid-sized room (15x20x8’), the ALPS volume control has never exceeded 10 o’clock. Specs can be found at “glow-audio.com”. The reviews on this incredible sounding amplifier can be seen at: “https://6moons.com/audioreviews/glow/one.html” and “https://www.enjoythemusic.com/magazine/equipment/0408/glow_audio_amp_one.htm”. If you don’t want to wait 1 ½ years and spend more for a Decware Zen EL84 amp, this one is for you. Shipping and packaging in Glow Audio original box. Best shipping costs from 28804 can be found at “parcelmonkey.com”. Moving audio to a much larger room so amplifier must be sold.
  2. Stubb: Am interested to buy for my Forte ii but am waiting for Trey Cannon at Klipsch to respond to query (hopefully this Tuesday). Quick question: (am in Asheville, NC) can you meet me part way on I-85? Will pay cash. Txs, Richard
  3. Area 51: stick with your 6P1. It's a "balanced single ended" design made famous by AtmaSphere. The Reisong's (A10 or A12) won't improve your sound (had and compared the A10 to the 6P1) and will sound better if you make the following low cost suggestions: (a) get a voltage regulator (about $50); (b) replace the tubes: 6P1P (Russian) for 6P1; 6SN7 for 6H8C; and 5AR4/GZ34 or 5U4GB for 5U4C.
  4. Coincidentally, have owned the KG 4, KLF 20 and KLF 10, all in a medium sized treated room powered by SET amp. Had the two KLF at the same time so the comparison was better than the memory of the KG 4s. Listen to chamber music, jazz, instrumentals, etc and rarely rock, hard metal, etc. Based on those parameters, I liked the KG4s but the KLF 10s have impressed me and prefer them to the KLF 20s. The integration of sound, the dynamics, vividness, and female vocal realities are all there with the two KLFs. However, the 2 way KLF10s seemed more natural not just to me but to friends and family. BTW, am no newbie dating back many decades in loving music reproduction.
