logitechs have neva been very popular on this board have they.... i seriously dont get why most people have such a big gruge against them, yeh sure there not for everyone like all speakers, but they are far from bad in my opineon, no its not just because i own them. I use to own the pm 2.1 they had there strengs and weaknesses over the z-560. -
mmmm sounds like a nice combo, i cant judge because i havent heard either. be interested on how they sound.

hmm what about 2 sets of logitech z-560s?, be cheaper and louder... 800watts? -
On the topic of subwoofer, my logitech z-560's sub beats the hell out of my bro's Bose freestyle gaming speakers, yeeeeeeeah! he feels abit ripped off since he paid $850 AUD and i paid $450 score!

hmmm, i dont realy like the look of em, i remeber PC powerplay reviewed them and they only gave the the didgitheatre 5.1 74%, i recon the klipsch 4.1 would be better! -

agh thats all good info about the videologics but i'm from Australia! -
I would have to say that spikes DO enhance the subs performance and overall sound quality. Spikes make the sub sound "tighter" and stuff in the room doesn't rattle as much. I WOULD recomend spikes though good spikes cost a bit, so i made my own 4 large nails hammered into a solid bit of 1" hardwood it may not sound flashy but it does improve the quality of the bass by making it sound tighter. have a go at making something like that its definetly worth it!

logitech Z-560 or Klipsch PM 4.1??
i luv bass replied to i luv bass's topic in Personal Music Systems
yeah i have, the specs are amazing but there styling is not realy to my liking!! It looks like one of those multimedia systems that will go out of date in 6 months or so!!! I'd rather the PM 4.1 or 5.1 for looks but the z-680 for BASS, and yes i am a bass junkie. though i am still very tempted to buy the logitech z-560 but again not huge on there control pod/thingy The one thing i DO luv about the logitech 560's is that it has binding posts for there speaker connections!!! its still a tricky decision 1- cambridge soundworks megaworks 250D(coz i luv its decor) 2- logitech z-560( everything apart from its tacky looks) 3- klipsch PM 2.1(price!!!! too much) thats in order by the way and thats my list so far. fell free to comment! thanx -
My PM 2.1 died today while listerning to "tool" very loud Oh well time to move on. i have upgraded my graphics card so i will be playing more games so i have decided to change to a 4.1 setup but i stuck on what to get!!! its either gonna be the Logitech Z-560 Klipsch PM 4.1 or the Cambridge soundworks Megaworks 250D comming out in december I would go out today and buy the z-560, but i dont wanna buy them and in a few months a new model will come out!!! so whats my best bet? thanx P.S i luv BASS if that helps
