  1. Pink Floyd without Waters is like the Bible without Genesis. By reading it, you can still get the gest of it, but you are missing the essence. I have maintained all my PF collection since at leats Atom and Medley, as it remains my all-time favorite, but remain hopeful of a 'REUNITE' before my time is up. Great minds think alike, but unfortunately do not always follow the same path when capitalism is at the reigns. PF is a way of life, not just a rock band. Seeing David on the TS was very nice, but it stirred a lot of old unfulfilled expectations for this 45 y/o fan.
  2. To relax and dust the woofers out, I like the Telarc's recording of the "1812 Overture" (Tchaikovsky) interpreted by the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and, "Also Sprach Zarathustra" (R. Strauss)by Cincinatti Pops. To relax and dust the squaker and tweeter, I like Telarc's "Banditen Galop" (J. Strauss). Getting out of the classics, I can also relax to Manheim Steamroller's Fresh Air collection processed through my Carver C-1 sonic hologram.
  3. I understand that the type of enclosure (sealed), as well as it's physical dimensions, do not allow for usable bass below 50HZ. I've owned a pair of H-II's for over 16 years and relish them to the point that I will like to get a second set (to use as HT rears). They are not really that much more placement-sensitive than other speakers. If you are in the market for an addictive speaker, I strongly recommend the Heresy.
  4. The H-II's do not "disappear" (they let you know exactly where they are), are somewhat weak in the bass department, and very sensitive to placement. Sooo...if those are not the characteristics that you are looking for, I suggest that you trade them for a pair of Infinity Kappa 7.1's. BTW, I have a pair of Kappas, and willing to trade for H-II's.
  5. HDBR: Unaware of the effects of lemon oil, I've used "old english" on my Heresy II's for 16 years. Last week, I noticed that the veneer on the left (front) edge of one speaker is beggining to unglue. How can I repair this? Besides ceasing the use of lemon oil, is there anything that can be done to slow or reverse the glue deterioration process? I've also used this oil on the Fortes and KG2's, but have not found discrepancies yet.
