  1. I don't think the SVS cherry look at all like the RF 7 cherry finish, i had the same concern, here a few pics.. of different finish shots.. 1
  2. Mate kangaroo land suck indeed, i want to go to america... in a few years.. in a few years.. then i can have, audition all the speakers i want.. hahahahaha []
  3. and this one... really nice finish .. just what i was looking for.. except i will get them to make it identical to the RF 7's of mine..
  4. I am really sorry to takeover someone else thread, after reading many review, from people all around the world, i think svs rocks in the sub world very much, also because of the price and value and availablity issue.. Yeap, SVS PB 12 ultra 2 is the way to go.. i saw some really nice finish, really good looking, i don't know why they don't show it on the SVS website.. on the website they don't look so good.. check these out..
  5. I am interested in the SVS's too now, since i can't get the Klipsch KW 120's, i am interested in either the SVS B4 plus or the SVS PB 12 Ultra/2 they cost only $370 to send to Australia, but very hard to decide because of the driver thing.. but like i've heard before, if i won;t be playing it a extreme levels.. the B4 plus ( db12 driver ) should be a good choice.. over the Ultra 2's .. would look good in the new Piano black finish.. too

  7. Thanks palmermaster, I've sent you a PM..
  8. dude, never touch the sub while it's playing (Sunfire sigs or even the earthquakes) you will hurt your fingers.. when i first bought the sunfire and was testing it for the first time, of course i've put a lot of mink oil on it a few mins before, and dust started sticking on it.. i was playing Pearl harbour, i think it's chapter 27.. when the big momma bomb falls from the plane,.. i could not hear any bass from them and was touching the cone trying to remove the dust and bang it hit my finger so hard.. it was painful.. oh yeah.. i'll never do it again..
  9. Yeah i am trying to get 'em.. 240v version, hohoho... Ears... which subs are you getting? Would you like some KW -120?? Get them and then give a review.. dude..hehehe.. []
  10. Australian Laws sucks, and retarted.. dude.. why don't we use exactly the same as US.. everywhere in the world should be like US.
  11. That's ok, BobG, although the RSW 15 is a beautifully crafted subwoofer and would have been the perfect match with my RF 7, i don;t care if some people think there are better subwoofers out there that could outperform the RSW 15.. i just wanted to have a complete system that's a good match with the rest of ny speakers, anyway i know i can't have it.. unless i import it and try the downconverter.. I spoke with the person who imports klipsch to Australia, and he himself could not do anything and explained me the same thing what you just told me... what they are trying to do now is to bring the THX Ultra 2, the 240 v version, but still they are very uncertain because of many issues.. I'll wait and see.. But, i have another question to you, since, the KW-120 already comes in a 240 v version, can that be purchased in the US, if yes where, can any klipsch dealer in the US sell them? Or, do we have to buy them through Klipsch.. I noticed that there's only 2 place in the world that have them, that's India and Hong Kong. I could import them and get them to be shipped by sea.. for very cheap..
  12. oh, i'm so sorry.. i did not noticed that it was "sold individually" hehe..
  13. http://www.dreamtheatres.com/category.cfm?Category=1&SubCat=7&SubSubCat=87 Some good deals here, i wish i was in USA, dude i'd buy 2 more pairs of RF 7, and 2 pairs of KW 120 plus amp... aaaaaaaaaahhh!! The RSX 3 package would be nice if you want to match them with your RW 12 and save some money... only $650 for all of them, plus they are reference better than promedia and quintet for sure..
  14. dude!!!, RF 7 new sells for $1100 in USA.. sorry, but just want to let other people who want cheap deals.. http://www.dreamtheatres.com/category.cfm?Category=1&SubCat=7&SubSubCat=87
  15. There is no too extremely funny joke, but the way he wrote the product description was a bit too much drama in it, anyway it struck me straight away that these people who are bidding might be getting ripped off, so I just checked today and they all won around, Aud$400, for these speakers that are selling in the bose shops for more than 3-4 times the price they are selling on ebay... and look at the pictures, they were taken from cruchfiled.com. even the pics are not real.!!!
  16. I just tested the Bose QC2 today, the noise cancellation is quite good, just wearing them on already cancel most of the outside noise, i could not see a difference after switching the "nc", they sound not too bad, there are so many much more cheaper headphones that does a much better job. They are very comfortable and light, it could be used for a very long time. I would buy them if they were half that price.
  17. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5804247123&fromMakeTrack=true I could not stop laughing ... read this ... dude.. so funny.. lol " Welcome every customer to come to our shop Product Details Features: Six Direct/Reflecting? cube speakers Designed to work with your 6.1-channel components Newly engineered powered Acoustimass? module Product Description Product Description Standard surround sound provides five channels for surround effects. But with 6.1-channel surround sound, the Acoustimass 16 speaker system increases the impact of home theater listening with a rear center speaker for even greater drama and realism. This heightened experience in music and motion picture listening is the result of a newly engineered powered Acoustimass module. This innovative module uses proprietary Bose technology to move low tones into the room on a column of air, bringing depth to the rumble of a passing train, or the resonance of a baritone's voice. Free from the audible distortion that betrays its location, the module can be hidden nearly anywhere in the room. You enjoy rich, colorful sound that appears to come only from the small speaker arrays. Imagine your favorite movie with Bose 6.1-channel surround sound. Footsteps click on the sidewalk behind you. A flute plays to your left. Such surround sound effects are even more enveloping with six Bose Direct/Reflecting® cube speaker arrays. Just 6" tall, these arrays deliver high and midrange frequencies so you enjoy crisp, clear reproduction of dialogue and music. And even though you're enveloped by 6.1-channel surround sound, your room isn't overwhelmed with equipment. The small Direct/Reflecting® cube speaker arrays can attach to your walls or sit stylishly on an end table with our accessory speaker mounting options. " Yeah, it's for real check the site..

  21. Amy how about Australia? And are they gonna be selling through Apple outlets or Klipsch Dealers? I wanted to get a friend to send me one from Canada too, but postage is costing a much as the IFI itself and i heard from someone too that it won't be too long for the IFI to come here. I just hope it doesn't take too long.
