  1. OOOOOPS! I now know why I've seen that before. Wish that would happen with my finances.
  2. "EARS, now theEAR" or was it the other way around? I forget, either way his statements are golden........atleast plated. Seriously though, I think he owns all three RSW subs, posted a few pics in the past. Has anyone heard the SVS PB10 NSD or Outlaw LFM-1 Compact? Wonder how they stack up in relation to either the RW-10 or sub-12. Semi same price range

    RSX-3

Ah, thank you. I was in my local shop today and decided to take a listen to the rb-10. They were alot fuller than I expected, pretty darn good for the price.
  8. I LIVE IN A VAN BY THE RIVER..........when I type I'm on "key", when singing I'm not.........again no pun intended.
  9. I agree. I think Daddy Dee stated Mizz isn't even in the BCS anymore. How do you go from playing for the National title to nothing? Unbelievable. Yes the waiting just may contribute to an old school rompin'.....I could only hope. Next year they have Southern Cal scheduled, can't wait.
  10. Petaluma, that sounds familiar. My first 19 years were spent in Temple City, CA (L.A. County) *GO RAIDERS*. Armed forces for 9 years after that, then ultimately here in Union KY for almost two years now (Wife's from Cincinnati). By they way, what is Dawahares? Dawahares

    RSX-3

would a 5.1 system utilizing 5 ifi speakers be thae same as using 5 rsx-3 speakers. I mean drivers, components, etc? I know the base is different, but this may be more cost effective.
  12. They are being manufactured out of my garage......Klipsch is very efficient, no pun intended. I'm also half chinese and half "American" (I really am) so my garage turns out to be the best place for production. Hey, my real world career is that of a production manager..............All I wanted to do was say the gargae thing and this entire post ended up tying in altogether......how cool was that?
  13. Union is approximately 20 minutes south of Cincinnati, OH. Adjacent to Florence,KY..........where Shaun Alexander grew up and played H.S. Football. Actually have a street named Shaun Alexander Way in front of the H.S.
  14. I may be stepping on some toes but I think OSU may get worked pretty good by LSU. Actually there is a possibility they even get rolled. But to be fair, if they put up a good fight and lose by a small margin, say 10 points or less, I will publically apologize. This coming from an avid Southern Cal fan who believes USC/LSU would be a bit more fair.
  15. LOL; true, I started "key word" searches to see if maybe there was an anouncement about landing a job, every seacrh result ended up with hundreds of hits anyway. So I did the next best thing...asked the community. I just can't believe a forum/support like this hasn't caught on to other speaker manufacturers. Well.....now that I think about it, I actually can. I work for a family owned business that went from a few hundred thousand dollar a year company in 97' to about 30M now, I can see similiar ideologies.
  16. Well congradulations then, I am happy to hear you that. I have not logged on for quite some time, but do remember reading some posts where he could rattle off some serious information on photography.
  17. I almost took the plunge to attend a couple years ago. Now that it will be held in Indy (I've since moved to Kentucky, part of greater Cincinnati) I may be able to jump on board. The video clips available for download are very motivational by the way.
  18. Has Colterphoto1 always been a klipsch employee?
  19. Good afternoon, Not sure if this will help but here goes a few general trouble shooting questions. Are your speaker distance settings correctly adjusted in relation to your listening position? I not I would measure the distances from your listening position and set them accordingly in your receiver. Does your reciever have auto set-up (mic) or do you have to adjust speaker levels manually? If manually an SPL meter is ideal; if you don't have any spl meter you may jsut have to rely on what sounds the "same" for each channel using test tones. Having the distance and test tones as accurate as you are able to I would then ensure the sub is not too close to a side or rear wall and tinker with the "phase". If the sub is too close to a wall, especially a corner, certain frequencies will be emphasized and can result in a boomy sound. Proper set-up can make a decent system sound great, improper set-up will make a great system sound horrible. Hope this helps.
  20. I'm a sucker for "one time deals", the rw-10d was the only sub on sale. the speakers and sub would be less than ebay before shipping.
  21. Good morning, I recently went to buy a sub for my paradigm HT (studio 20v.3 studio adp-470v.3) and although I am picking up the rw-10d subwoofer tomorrow, a pair of rf-83 are coming home with them. I'll probably experiment with the x-over setting but would you think the rw-10d could "co-exist" with the rf-83? Also do you feel rb-35s (already have) would work fine as surrounds? I'm a bit excited as these are the first speakers I am purchasing NIB, authorized dealer.
  22. I second that. I owned ksf-10.5 (same as 8.5 but with two woofers) and had them first matched with klf-c7.....did not blend well, the difference was audible and became annoying. swithceed out the klf-c7 with a ksf-c5 and it made a world of difference. Actually it blended better than the C-7 did with a pair of klf-20 I purchased later. I always thought the older synergy ksf-XX/ksb sounded better than any synergy that has come since (including the current B-XX series.) I nominate the c-5 hands down.
