mikehorwath
Can anyone tell me the ohm reading should be on a k-55 with a k-700 horn mh3dh3@gmail.com
Groomlakearea51
As I mentioned in your other post regarding selling them. They should be between 11.7 and 12.0.... I have a brand new pair of K-55's (new in the box Atlas PD5H's) and they tested at 11.9 (12 ohms). Contact Bob Crites (BEC on the Forum) and ask him for the ideal specs. He is a very well respected member of the Forum and rebuilds crossovers for many Forum members.
Jay Registrar
Hi Groom Related but different. What would be a decent brand for a decent price (under $100) digital ohm meter, or a meter which reads ohms as well as performs other functions? Thanks, Tom

I was tied up the last couple days and did not get to the Forum. I hate it when work interfereres with my personal stuff....!!! The one I have is an old "Elektro-Tec". Was about $29.95 if I recall. I have a very nice (expensive...) one, but it's at the office to use for testing boat motor sending unit and gauges, and FM radio circuitry. Don't recall the brand.
