Rich_Guy
I'll have 8" speakers all the way around except for 6" for the RS-62 as side surrounds. Also 6" speakers in the new RC-64.
Moderators Youthman Posted February 1, 2009 Moderators Share Posted February 1, 2009 Also 6" speakers in the new RC-64. My bad, I was thinking of my previous RC-7.
freestyle
Hmmm....Now I'm wondering if I should just wait a bit until the UMC-1 comes out and ditch my Sony 820. Then pair it with the XPA-3. What do you think? With my 83's, 64, and the new 62's and my Cambridge powered sub would that be the best option? They have so many cool products it gets a bit confusing! Maybe I should ask in the forum? Any input?
nezff
if you do get the UMC, you will have to have an amp or amps to power all your speakers. the umc is a pre/pro

freestyle
Hey...So, what is the recommended height to have the 62's? I have my current rears on 31 inch high speaker stands. Is that fine for these or should they be higher?
freestyle
Ok just picked up these bad boys....Dam, they are solid and heavy!...ha........ I see the keyhole bracket in back, so how are you guys hanging these? Just a nail in the stud or what? What is recommended? And is there a benefit of getting them up higher? Right now I have speaker stands that are almost 3 feet. Should these be up higher? Does it matter?
