wuzzzer Posted March 1, 2009 Share Posted March 1, 2009 Chorus Is are front ported so they are more forgiving on where they are placed in the room. Chorus IIs have a passive rear woofer so they need to be somewhat close to a rear wall for their bass to sound best. Chorus Is have an exponential horn and Chorus IIs have a tractrix horn. Many people prefer the sound of the tractrix in the C II over the exponential horn in the C I. Chorus Is are usually a bit less expensive than Chorus IIs which seem much harder to find used.
