biglaz
Is there an advantage to using 2" drivers and horns over 1" drivers and horns.
JL Sargent
Supposedly 2" drivers have 1/10 the distortion. They appear to have a much wider frequency range than 1" drivers. I have 2" drivers in two way speakers right now that I'm enjoying. Im sure there are other considerations that I'm not aware of.
biglaz
What 2" drivers are you using. Do you know of were I might find some. I already have 2 Reinkus Heinz 2" bolt on horns. Thanks, Robert
JL Sargent
Lots of talk about 2" drivers and Gregs horns here. http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/t/116842.aspx Im using some JBL 2441 drivers with Community horns.

Don Richard
2 inch drivers generally have more power handling potential than 1 inch. Top octave frequency response is generally not as good as 1", with more beamy polar response.
