Stocklone
Klipsch has a wonderful warranty of 2 years. Mine broke earlier this month. I was devistated. I wear these things probably 8+ hours a day. I figured that I could send it in and they could repair them for a small fee. The headphones cannot be repaired no matter what is wrong with them (even if it is a simple wire breaking). So if they break out of warranty for any reason, you have to either fix them yourself or buy a new pair. If it is under warranty you get a brand new pair. I certainly do not have money to throw around like that. Thankfully, I was under warranty and got a new pair. (I love Klipsch!) But I am going to baby the hell out my new ones. I also bought a cheap pair of headphones for some of my more risky situations and I always keep the wire under my shirt or jacket to lessen the chance of it snagging on anything. So in conclusion, there is a good reason why they give you a fancy carrying case for your headphones and why you actually should make use of it.
