oldmako
OK, along the same lines as the "How Do You Organize Your Albums" thread...... I'm looking for an inexpensive, wall mount rack/shelves for my CDs. I have several hundred, and I HATE having to squat down to browse. I'm looking for a fairly wide and tall rack which I can screw to the wall so my CDs are in FRONT of me. Any suggestions?? LarryC
Google racks and stands. I ended up liking this site: http://www.racksandstands.com/default.asp?refid=G569.%22racks+and+stands%22&gclid=CJv-5IX0opoCFSQeDQodamTC-Q.
oscarsear
I had exactly the same problem. My 2 channel system is downstairs and adjacent to the kitchen. I have a walk in pantry that has shelves. I got a cheapo dual CD rack from Target and hung it upside down from the top pantry shelf. It drops down about 2.5 shelves in length and is double CD wide. It holds over 100 CDs right at eye level and out of the mainstream of the household. It is well lit, easy to access, easy to read and keeps things uncluttered.
