longdrive03 Posted May 7, 2009 Share Posted May 7, 2009 I have been commissioned by my daughter's school (we'll really we suggested and they agreed) to build/replace the junk full range metal PA horn system at their football field. I'm thinking high output horn loaded setup for the lows. Anyone with suggestions/experience please jump in. Considering the University Classic bass module and maybe a wooden custom built mid and horn tweeters. This will be outside obviously and we're still considering size placement. Daddy Dee Posted May 7, 2009 Share Posted May 7, 2009 A few weeks ago Seti posted about an Arkansas state govt surplus sale of various speakers and horns taken down from a functioning system removed from a college basketball arena. Don't know what was in it, but it was packed up on two pallets. I wonder if that ended up being sold. I wouldn't think there would be a lot of consumer interest in that kind of gear.
