emc
I am probably shooting myself in the foot by asking this, BUT...... I've seen the following here, and the current pricing seems low for these. The cabinets don't look too bad, and I would think could be freshened up with some proper wood and finish treatment. What am I missing????? These would seem to be good otherwise, even with the cost of shipping. http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1332946181 Thanks! Al Klappenberger
EMC, I don't think you are missing anyhting. They look like a good set to me. The only negative I see is the "AL" network. I don't think that one has such a good reputation. Al K.
edster00
And don't forget, the reserve isn't met yet...who knows how high it is set at? Most serious folks won't want to bid 'till the closing moments of the auction. ------------------ 2 Channel System: '78 Khorns w/ALK networks Welborne Labs Moondog 2A3 amps AES AE-3 Superpreamp DJH mods McIntosh MCD 7007 CD McIntosh MR-78 Tuner DIYCable Twisted Cross Connects DIYCable Superlatives (preamp/amp) DH Labs Silver Pulse interconnects (sources/preamp) f> s>
soundog
If there are two bidders within p/u distance watch the price climb. Anything under $800. could be considered a good buy. ------------------ Soundog's HT Systems
mpgwagon
These have type AL crossovers. I would wait for an older pair with the type AA. ------------------ http://gallery.consumerreview.com/webcrossing/images/MYSTUFF.jpg
