wuzzzer
Welcome to the forum! I've never heard a CF series speaker but I'd love to some day. A pair of CF-4s came up for sale for $500 locally and I highly regret not buying them.

oldmako
I stole a pair of CF3s last summer and could not be happier. I have heard many say that they are great rock speakers, but I must say that they make beautiful music in many other genres as well. I was listening to a Count Basie recording the other day and they damn sax player was IN MY ROOM. Linda Ronstadt on the Nelson Riddle ambums was IN MY ROOM. Ditto: Frank Sinatra, Little Feat, Tragicaly Hip, NRBQ, Jennifer Warnes, Snooky Pryor, The Who, Django, Wilson Pickett, Kings of Leon, Lyle Lovett, and Oh my gawd Steely Dan etc etc etc! I bought an old high power amp to really crank them and it's just sick what they will do. I'm having a blast!
