Gilbert
For the past 2 or 3 years I'd been using CDex for all my audio CD ripping pleasures, but I recently built a new PC with 2.3 TB worth of HD space..... so now I want to rip my entire CD collection in FLAC. So, I'm thinking about changing to one of these ripping programs, dbpoweramp, Secure Ripping or Accurate Rip anybody use either of these? There suppose to be better than Cdex for obtaining lost CD information, but I have no experience with them, only know what I read on the ripping forums. jdm56
I use dBpoweramp and like it very well, other than the fact I have to pay for it.[] I rip to flac and use "smartgain" which keeps the volume pretty much the same from track to track. It's not perfect but its a lot better than nothing. I bought Roxio Creator 2009 for video and tried it with audio, but went back to dBpoweramp real quick.
