gapped
Easy on the new guy... :-) I've just inherited a pair of heresys' and in my quest to find appropriate power I've located a seller with a sansui au-717 and a marantz 2330 fs.... From my limited research, both seem like good canidates...one factor is price...the 2330 is nearly twice the price of the 717... Which unit would best suit the heresys' somewhat idosyncratic nature...? TIA

Daddy Dee
Welcome to the forum and congrats on the Heresy's I've heard some folks speak well of the Marantz 2330. Also in the ballpark is the HK 430 and bigger brothers. I've been quite pleased with he HK twin power receivers. You do see a few HK 505 twin powered integrated amplifiers on Ebay. Same twin power, but seem to be sleepers in the market.
Islander
Which unit would best suit the heresys' somewhat idosyncratic nature...? First I've heard of Heresies having an idiosyncratic nature. I think you can drive them with nearly anything.
