Daughdrill
This week, I purchased another pair of ~1984 vintage Cornwalls, and I'd like to change the grille style. The ones I've had for 20 years have black grilles, so I'd like these to look different by replacing their black grilles with Cane grilles. Does anyone know of a source for these? I looked on the Klipsch site, but I couldn't determine if these are still available. I also looked at e-bay, but no luck. I figured someone here would have an answer to this question. Thanks in advance for any help. Daughdrill
ShapeShifter
You can begin by calling 1-800-KLIPSCH (1-800-554-7724) and connect with the Parts Dept. They can tell you what's available via Klipsch and possibly suggest other sources. Other members may post additional suggestions as well. Good luck, Wes ------------------ "KLIPSCH IS MUSIC"f>
Daughdrill
Wes, thanks for the reply. I had already tried the parts department, and the woman said they were no longer available A quick question: are all Cornwall grilles the same? What I'm wondering is if grilles for a Cornwall II would fit a Cornwall I? I failed to aske her if CWII grilles are still available, so that might be a source Daughdrill
J M O N
Since the Cornwalls are no longer made, the grills are not available, but the grill cloth should be. If you are looking to make a permanent change, you can go that route by changing the grill cloth.
Colin
I got my black ones long after they stopped making the Cornwall grills, but I sold my cane ones to a fellow BBSr since I never used them once I got the black ones, truth be told, I would not use them now, except that the WAF is better ... ------------------ Colin's Music System Cornwall 1s & Klipsch subs; lights out & tubes glowing!
