willland
I just got back from browsing the local SA in Kissimmee and found a nice DCD-1500 for $19.99. No brainer. Brought home and hooked it up to my Marantz 2252b and Forte's and boy was I in for a surprise. A 23 year old cd player that sounds awesome and doesn't skip and jumps from track to track without a hint of hesitation. I understand that this player was one of the one's to have in the 80's. I can see(hear) why. Bill
cyclonecj
I had a DCD-1700 for about 5 years until it started to sound very flat. Upgraded to an Adcom which I still have. I also remember the very fast response times.
