m00n
Hey all... I have a very old 1969 vintage Kustom amp. it's an old solid state amp. Nothing digital, just old school solid state. Currently it's running 2 10" 8ohm eminence speakers in series. I want to replace them... Been pondering the idea of running two 10" RF7 drivers as replacments... Now, having said that... It's been brougt to my attention that running 2 16ohm drivers in prallel would be more effecient, which if I'm not mistaken, the RF7s are 8ohm... Yes? The amp is either a 50 or 60 watt amp... Not totally sure which it is. Anyway... Any thoughts would be helpful.
JL Sargent
I can only tell you what I would do. Pop em in and give it a go. If you play at moderate levels I suspect all will go well. I've been using some RF7 horns in an active setup. Have fun.
