sunfire, jr

I just bought a Sunfire Jr subwoofer!

I am not sure where the "proper" placement in the room is. I had it at the front of the room and had Awesome Bass you could feel!!

My wife would like me to move it to the back of the room for "looks" any suggestions???

I have RP-5's in the front of the room, I would think they are capable at least!!

That little Rubix Cube\Sunflower can go "anywhere". Ask The Ears for proper placement, but from what I know, where it sounds best(minus vibe)to your "sweet spot", listening area. Move it around until "you" feel comfortable in positioning, start from a corner and adjust along the wall, adjusting frequency as you go to counter.

Enjoy, an awesome sub, sounds great "deep".

avaddict,

Congrats on your purchase,great choice.

I placed all mu Sunfire subs(again,Signature,Mark II and Junior...Carver Knight Shadow too Smile.gif )alongside the front wall. There behind the RF-7's they blend to perfection with the mains and only extend the low bass down to the limits of audibility.

I tried along the front wall,in the front corners and that is where any sub will work best.

I position subs opposite to my listening chair, this way I get maximum bass,I place them out of corners for clean bass.

Try to move the sub around and you may find the best spot for your sub.

Again congrats,great sub
