mrmartin
I recently moved and have to downsize my current Klipsch home theater system which consists of the following: 2 - KG 5.2 => main 1 - Academy => center 6 - KG 2.5 => surrounds 1 - SW-12 II = subwoofer All are walnut oil finish and in MINT condition. I am want to sell the entire system, but am not sure what the system is currently worth. If anyone can point me to a good source that would help me determine what the fair market value is, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks. wuzzzer
Welcome to the forums! KG 5.2s 300-400 Academy 300-400 KG 2.5s 150-200/pair SW-12 150-200 Just going by prices seen on eBay and craigslist. Sorry to hear that you need to downsize. You've got the makings of a pretty killer setup there.
mrmartin
Thanks for the information. I found it very helpful. The system does sound awesome. The irony is that I have auditioned smaller systems to accommodate my new surroundings, but have not found anything so far that comes close to the sound. Even though my system is dated by today's standards, it still sounds better than a lot of systems I've listened to. I think that once you've been bitten by the Klipsch sound, nothing sounds better. I'd love to audition a higher-end Klipsch system, but haven't found a dealer in my area that has one. Definitive Technology, Polk, etc., are big around here and Best Buy only carries the low-end Klipsch line. I'll keep searching. If I get too discouraged, I'll just end up keeping what I have and make do. Thanks again.
