bliss53
Refinishing some oak cabinets. Some veneer chip repair. Cut holes for gothover horns. Cut down the risers about an 1/8 of an inch to remove the damaged veneer edges, reinstalled the staples and metal feet. Next is the black paint, make grills, and install K72, K57, K33 drivers with a gothover network based on an ALK design with an added tweeter attenuator and adjustable taps. Before pic 1. Johnny's Jill
Another set sweet. I had gothover overhaul my cornwalls a while back, but I didn't have the horns mounted internally. I just have them sitting on top. I am anxious to see how these turn out, your last ones looked perfect. Make em sweet - Craig
hklinker
Pete- Looking good! Are you using the X-over with the switchable woofer X-over (the 33 & 15 mH inductor)? I am putting together the components to build GotHover's design as we speak! The cabinets look great, keep the pics coming. Herb

bliss53
Tuning...next to the older brothers. The K79 and the K57 sounded more detailed and a bit more forward than the ct125 and K55V in mine.

bliss53
Big thanks to gothover for help with mid horns and crossovers. Black felt over the port and thin weather stipping on the back panel helped tighten the bass.
jtnfoley
Look familiar... [] Glad they are getting some attention. Interested to know how they sound.
bliss53
They sound great. They are so much better than stock. We set them up for their new owner who has a ton of audio experience and a smile spread across his face. He has listened to tons of klipsch gear over the years and he commented on the integration of the sound and and the tightening of the bass response. He also noted that the stock ringing was gone. He preferred the tweeter attenuation 1db higher than I would have set them but he listens at slightly lower volumes than I do.
