BE36
Good to know. Have an old set of La Scala bins that need lots of work. Plan on turning them into La Scala II bases with Crites Woofers and Cheeks, need to work out what the mid horn will be.
Invidiosulus
I would think that having them in a box like that would give you some weird dispersion issues. They do look nice though. -josh
BE36
Thanks. Is there a material, felt etc, that could be used to line the inside to reduce reflections?
BE36
Wider Top similar width of the Dog House, 16 3/4 in progress. This time since the wife is leaning in this direction I used Birch Laminated Plywood, filler on edge voids like the stock version and clamps etc. Doing this in the Man Cave, too cold in a unheated work room behind garage. Gotta love Motor City in Winter.
BE36
Wide, Dog House width, version filled an ready for matching Grill Cloth from Bob, Stain & Polyurathane. I fell a little guilty triming these out before finishing the trim in the basement, but not enough to actually do something about it. Not that I heard any disortion on the small version but this version should have less?
BE36
Finished except Polyurathane. Trying to determine if Sqwauker should be in 1 cabinet roughly this size and the tweeter in the smaller size or just make one top about 4 taller but the same width as stock.
