BE36
I saw a picture of a box someone made for Baby Cheeks to sit on top of La Scalas but can not find it searching . . . does anyone have the picture or know the thread?
Coytee
I seem to remember that as well. My (poor) memory says they actually bought the box at a place like Michaels Crafts or somewhere like that. I think it was something like 5x5 or 6x6, ready made for the tweter. That's about all I remember

BE36
We are getting warmer. I will have to read up on the LPad thanks. The one I was saw was "Boxed in on all sides and was not painted it was plywoodish to match the La Scalas. This is a WAF proposal to enable JBL 2404H on top of my La Scalas. . . it was next to one of your posts Marvel with your Beymas, I tried a search under your Name but could not find it. greg928gts
Have you considered putting them just under the top part of the bass bin mounted with a bracket? A recent customer of mine with LSII's and an Fc260 horn with BMS drivers, reports that he got the best imaging with his Beyma tweeters mounted this way. To test for imaging, he located the tweeters on a stand, at that height right next to the bass bins. Greg
greg928gts
John Warren built some for his Khorns. Can be seen here http://home.comcast.net/~wooferboy/The_Audio_Engineering_League.html Greg

Marvel
Obviously no one is reading the posts, since three of us at different times have posted the link to John Warren's pages. Pretty funny... []

BE36
I understand Marvel does not have Beymas but in a post He showed a bracket that he made to mount a tweeter on top of his La Scalas, in a post on the same thread there was a picture of a box that some made or puchased that the tweeter fit into on top of the La Scala. The may prove to have the best WAF.

greg928gts
That looks like a proper way to do it. Greg
BE36
Thanks, Means a lot from you Greg. Will go to HD to get the plywood for the wider version in the next couple of days. Looking at the dimensions of your Fc260 I might be able to fit it into the space of the HF of another pair of La Scalas?
greg928gts
The Fc260 will fit in the tophat of a La Scala, but you'll have to cut the top front portion out. I will be making a kit here in another month or so, but the top will still need to be cut. The Belle is a little easier, I can make a drop-in for that.
