Yishai
Hi All - I have recently bought RF63 speakers and have been able to find a Rotel 1056 receiver for a decent price. I plan to use it in a two channel configuration primarily to listen to music. However, I am a bit concerned that the power output for the Rotel (75W per channel with five channels and 100W per channel in two channels mode) wont be sufficient to power the RFs. Did anyone try to work with these components together ? would you recommend to return the Rotel 1056 and get a used Rotel 1067 instead (which is significantly more powerful) ? Would appreciate your perspective Cheers Yishai
wuzzzer
With 75 watts you'll be hitting 115dB+. How loud do you want it to be?
nezff
you actually have to double the power sent to the speakers to achieve noticable difference in volume. (+3db)
