gto6
I'm moving my place of residence and need to disconnect my khorns for transport. Before I waste time tinkering, I'd like to hear from some of you have.
J M O N
Not sure what you're asking. Do you have to separate the top half from the bottom? They can be transported fully assembled. If you're moving them yourself, I highly recommend you go out and buy yourself a dolly if you don't already have one.
HornEd
"Parton" me, JMON, but to you think a "Dolly" can really handle those big boys? -HornEd This message has been edited by HornEd on 03-16-2002 at 02:03 AM
Q-Man
The top section is held in place with wing nuts, very easy to remove. I use a dolly to move mine around the house. Attack them from the front. Q. ------------------ Q-Man
gto6
Thanx QMAN......I have a dolly and enough cardboard and blankets to pretect them....it will be a two man job no matter how you look at it, but breaking them into two pieces should make them easier to tame,,,
edster00
gto6, As mentioned above, just undo the (2) wing nuts from each side of the speaker where the HF section joins the LF section...there are a total of (4) wing nuts per speaker. Then disconnect the pair of wires at the LF section binding posts and leave them attached to the x-over. Now you can lift the HF section off the LF section and away you go! (oops! you posted again while I was typing...) This message has been edited by edster00 on 03-16-2002 at 08:47 AM
