Ness5555
Ok, this might be a stupid idea, but I was wondering if it would be possible to connect the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 speakers to the Sub-10? Would it even work?
JL Sargent
I don't think that would work. The Promedia speakers are setup to connect to the amplified OUT located on that systems sub. The Sub-10 does not have the outputs required.
Ness5555
I never really understood the High Level in and out connections of the sub. Wouldn't those work?
JL Sargent
If you bring high level to the Sub 10 and then make adapters or cut off the Promedia speaker connectors. I would be surprised if you can bring low level to the sub and get high level out for those speakers.
Ness5555
Sorry, not sure what you're trying to say. Like I said I don't really have a good understanding of those connections. Anyway, I don't think it will work.
astrallite
The subwoofer will not drive the satellites. The ony purpose of the low level inputs is to make sure the input signal to the speakers will have a crossover slope, nothing else. The sub output has to go to an a/v receiver to power the satellites.
