TwoWatt
Just curious. If I buy used speakers from a person who purchased said speakers at an authorized local seller is the warranty still valid and transferable to me? What is the warranty period for most Klipsch speakers? The speakers in question are the RF-3s' Thanks for your help. Q-Man
Don't worry about them not having a warranty. If you like them and the price is right, buy them. Q. ------------------ Q-Man
TwoWatt
Oh. I probably will. I figure it this way. If the seller has already filed a warranty card with klipsch, and something bad happens. I call klipsch, say my name is "joe seller" and I have the original receipt from an authorized seller. How would they know ?? I hate to have to do this, but i figure if my seller has purchased from authorized dealer less than 1 year ago, his 5 year warranty shouldnt die with the sell. dougdrake2
TW - Also, your state laws may require that the warranty be transferable. You might want to check with the state consumer affairs/AG office to find out. Doug ------------------ My System
TwoWatt
I don't think I will go to that extent. But seeing as how I am not buying online and the speakers came from an authorized seller (I checked) that the warranty should still remain. Also, buying from this person I can hear the speakers before buying, so I know what I am getting. Im not freaking out too much about it. But WAF would like a warranty This message has been edited by TwoWatt on 03-17-2002 at 10:51 AM
