Pete H
Has anyone played with these compression drivers? In a conversation with the owner of the Carver repair center in Washington, he spoke very highly of this company. Any opinions? http://www.radianaudio.com/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=
djk
What model? I've used their 1.75", 3", 4" diaphragm models. Their 850 measured no better than OK, but didn't sound good. Their 1245 has no real high end, but a big peak in the 16Khz region. Their replacement 1" models have less high end than the original JBL/Altec they are intended to replace. They had reliability issues when I tried them (although they do have a 3 year warranty) . I wouldn't give them a try without return rights (like Radian gave me with the 850). Pete H
I'm just trying to make a decision for a 1" driver to install on a set of wood horns that I purchased from KG4guy, for a split cornscala project.
