fabulousfrankie
After 2 years of wanting/drooling, yesterday I bought Klipsch RF-3II, RC-3II, and RS-3II(sound better than I expected). Right now I have some 16g Monster XP, I was going to get some 12 gauge HD speaker wire and bi-wire the mains and center. A person at the place where I bought the speakers(non-salesperson) told me to go with the time corrected speaker wire. He said it made a difference for him but do you guys think this was psychological difference? Basically what I'm asking is if you bought time corrected speaker wire did you notice a difference? If you guys recommend me not to go w/time corrected wire is the HD stuff good or is there something else I should go with? I've also got extra 16g Monster XP, should I just biwire with this and forget about purchasing more wire? I have an SVS 20-39cs plus on the way, is the HD wire good enough for that with the Samson S1000 amp? Oh yeah, power is provided courtesy a Parasound HCA-855a hooked up to my Yamaha HTR-5280. Thanx in advance ------------------ FABULOUSFRANKIE
soundog
There seems to be as many different opinions on wire as there are brands of wire. Many maintain that wire is wire and there is little or no difference. My sugggestion is start with what you have and compare it to whatever you buy with a money back guarantee. It's what you think sounds best that counts. ------------------ Soundog's HT Systems
JohnA
There is absolutely no such thing as time-corrected speaker wire! There is no way, in our universe, that wire can correct time, or in some way correct for a time delay. It's B.S. Somebody is pulling your leg.
