HornerKorn
Whoever suggested Gun stock oil for the cabs was right on target! (pun intended.) The Gun stock oil is an absolutely fanstastic way of making the walnit cabinets of my Khorns look awesome. I find that thin coats with very light sanding between coats provides an extremely impressive cabinet! Thank you for posting that suggestion YAY! Allan Songer
No problem! Been using this stuff for YEARS and nothing beats it! Follow it up in a couple of weeks with some gun-stock wax.
Mike Lindsey
Where does one pick up some gun stock oil? It's not at my local Home Depot... Mike
JohnA
You can probably get Birchwood Casey at Walmart. John
Allan Songer
Any big sporting goods store will have it. Anywhere that sells rifles. It usually comes in 4 oz bottles--enough to do a pair of K-Horns for sure.
Vavoline
Sanding?? Can you just use the stuff like furniture polish?
JohnA
You need to at least use steel wool between coats to roughen it so the next coat will stick. This will give you a deep glossy finish. It can be made to look like show car paint. John
