corner horn magnets

I have a pair of cornerhorns which I have loved for some 30 years, (which because I am moving, I will soon have to sell). A dealer once told me that older speakers like mine are particularly desirable because the iron ore used for their magnets was particularly high quality. Is there any truth to this, or was he just feeding me a line?

Don't have my crystal ball on hand, so what year are your speakers, and what drivers do they have?

Also, K-Horn posts don't belong in the Pro Speaker section.
