Emanon Posted March 28, 2010 Share Posted March 28, 2010 I've an RC-35 and will soon be receiving RF-52s. Just wondering if there's a big difference between the RC35 and RC62? If so, is it possible to "convert" the 35 to a "faux" 62 by changing out the tweeter and crossover? Are the mounting holes for the two tweeters the same? willland Posted March 28, 2010 Share Posted March 28, 2010 Emanon, There is a slight difference but I really think the RC-35 would be fine paired up with the RF-52's. When a speaker is designed, type of tweeter, woofers, crossovers, and cabinet size are all taken into account. You could probably change out the tweeter and crossover but the cabinet size will remain the same which is smaller than the RC-62. Maybe a more technically savy member will be better able to explain.
