I guess you could look at it as like the foam rigid board...but i guess i just assumed that it would be understood as a pressed fiberglass insulation. It was my error in assuming to much. Go to Home Depot, Lowes, etc and you will see that the rigid insulation is some type of styrofoam. This is absolutely what you do not want. tnoble1 Posted August 20, 2010 Share Posted August 20, 2010 If you want to get technical, the O.C. material is still rigid and it is insulation... but i understand what you are saying. Like you said stryofoam wont work... This is kinda like the thought of going to buy a staight edge screw driver... its really called a standard screw driver... or going to get a saws-all... if you dont buy the actuall brand name saws-all it is just a reciprocating saw... we could get technical all day, but i have the feeling you knew what i was talking about. But for me to clarify my own comments from earlier... I do NOT suggest to go out and by rigid styrofoam insulation... But i would suggest a rigid pressed fiberglass insulation.
