garyrc
We hear a lot about people replacing caps in crossover networks .. but how about caps in condenser mics? Would the caps in a c1975 U47 FET that has been in storage and not powered up for about 30 years be likely to need replacing? Would powering up the mic and leaving it on for a few days in a room used for frequent music listening rejuvenate the caps?
Audio Flynn
Hard part will be to find the same size cap. New caps are really great in tube amps and crossover networks, could not be bad in a mic.
