Idklipsch Posted March 23, 2002 Share Posted March 23, 2002 ok i am not an audiophile...but i love a nice bass boom with quality sound....klipsch is great...i was going to get promedia 5.1 for my computer....but instead now im goin to get an amp/receiver with a pair of tower speakers and the 12" sub....but what are about the cheapest towers? im lookin for about 400watts to 500 watts a piece....(on the towers) and would two towers with a sub sound good? dougdrake Posted March 24, 2002 Share Posted March 24, 2002 The cheapest towers are the SF-1s. You can see the specs from the Home Audio section of the home page. The MSRP is $500/pair. You don't need speakers to handle 400-500 watts (or are you talking about powered towers, with built-in subs?). All Klipsch speakers will rock with about 5-10 max watts of power into them, or less.
