VINTAGE PIONEER SX-5580 ???

Thinking of picking up a SX-5580 to go with the pro industrail La scala's that I'm having a buddy refinish for me. Any opinons on this receiver and how much is going price for one. It's on a ebay and not sure how much to bid or what it's worth.

It doesnt look like you got it but it does look to be in great condition. I sold mine a couple of months back for $500. It was a very nice receiver I just decided to sell all my Pioneers.

If I'm not mistaken the SX-5580 was Pioneer's European version of the SX-1050. A solid unit from Pioneer; nice with the black face plate.

I also believe that the SX-5580 is the European version, make sure that it has the ability to run off of 120VAC.

You are correct, it is the European version of the SX-1050 !
