NWebb
I bought a black RSW 15 about 5 years ago. About a year after I bought it the amp went out. Much has happened in the last 5 years and lets just say I am not in the financial situation I was back then. I really don't know what to do with it. I took it apart to try and get the amp repaired and never put it back together. Anyway, I listed it on Craigs list and have had a few offers of $150.00, but I remember paying over a grand for it and don't think $150.00 is enough. OK, so here are my questions... 1.) Do I sell it as is (in pieces) Ohhh yeah, I have misplaced the black screws to put it back together!! (Yes I'm an idiot) 2.) Do I buy an amp and get help putting it back together and sell it? The point is I want to sell it and get as much $$ as I can... It is in good condition... The top of the cabinet has a few stains, but everything else is perfect (- the amp) Any help/opions would be great!!
picky
NWebb: First of all: Welcome to the forum!! I own an RSW-15, too and love it, although I haven;t had any issues with mine in the 6 years I've owned it. I'd like to suggest that before you sell it that you contact Klipsch Customer Service at either: 1-800-KLIPSCH (1-800-554-7724) or support@klipsch.com You may be suprised at how they may be able to help you. -Glenn

jacksonbart
No need to ship the sub, you can remove the amp and send that back to Klipsch, the service tech will help you out.

NWebb
1. I will call them this evening and let you know... 2. I am in Tulsa, OK 3. From what I remember when I took (what I thought the amp was) out (I noticed a few of the boards had been obviously burnt up). I took two boards to a local shop to have them fix them and have'nt heard back from them. Think this was in 06... lol (I no longer have the boards). Maybe I should post a few photos of what I have and you guys can tell me whats up? 4. My fear is that I ship the amp and it costs $500 smackers to get it back in working condition (I am pretty broke right now). I really want to keep this fine piece of equipment, but the wife wants the $$ neway.. let me see what Customer Support says =)
