Daddy Dee
Have a neighbor's son who is on his third tour of duty. Two tours in Iraq and now one in Zabul, Afganistan. His mom tells me it is the most primitive FOB he's seen so far. He's starting a 12-15 month tour of duty there. I'm thinking, it may not be the end of the earth, but at least TEOTE can be seen from there. His mom relays the message that he'd like some mellow music. I've got a couple of questions. It would be easy enough to send CD's (I think) to his military address. Would anyone have any advice on packing for shipping? Maybe load up an MP3 player and send that? or mp3's on a usb flash drive? Any suggestions on particular CD's? Any suggestions on other things to ship that would be enjoyable for this youngster? Any suggestions as to things to avoid shipping? Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.
