chuckears
BTW. after having seen my last new release of the year (True Grit), I can state categorically that Inception was my favorite film of 2010, followed by Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt One, Toy Story 3, The Social Network, and Iron Man 2. JBL4645
I only watched it on bluray a few weeks ago for Oscar nominated best sound and sound effects editing at the time with Oscars only week away. Wow worst Dolby film I have listened to for 2010 it was mostly Hans Zimmer drowning the centre channel mix out and the centre has some interesting sounds if you know how to tame the left/right fronts. If anyone thinks its really the best Dolby film mix for 2010 you need to get a hearing check! Or pay full attention to to you're set-up! SIGH SALT was easily the best Dolby film I listened to a few days after the Oscars. Oscar needs to get its golden ears tested. I think Oscar was fixed this year. How can film be best sound when most of the time the centre is drowned out! Worst Hans Zimmer score in years. Yeah it has that oh, i wet myself ending on the end credits for about 2min the goes soft and quiet and thank goodness for that!
shake777
I don't know about the rest but the first fifteen minutes are the best grabbers I've seen in a long time. Nic

shake777
Without much detail I was floored by the concept. The first fifteen minutes made the whole thing worth it and the rest was pretty much filler except...??? I didn't watch it for a long time after it came out because the trailers didn't tell me enough and the conversation I heard bored me if that seems a little snooty I beg apologies. I need to watch it a few more times, maybe once at least. Nic
shake777
I read the wiki on it. I'm still freaked. Nic
