Mixing Klipsch Speakers??

Does anyone here use a Klipsch center with speakers from a different company for your front right and lefts? I know it is important to timber match (and know that Klipsch sound different than most other brands), but I am curious if anyone has matched with sucess. Thanks.

I would tend to agree with BBR. If I were any sort of audiophile, I probably wouldn't be happy with mixing heritage gear with a reference center and sub; but it sounds just fine to me. I don't know about trying it with other brands. What kind of Klipsch center do you have?

Marantz SR 5004

Klipshorn x 2 walnut for fronts

Klipsch RC-64 cherry center

Klipsch KG-1's x 2 for surrounds

Klipsch RW 12 D black ash subwoofer

Samsung 1600 Blu-Ray

Samsung DVD-VR 325 recorder

Dish 222 Dual Sat. Receiver

Onyko DX-C200 5 disc CD player

Sharp 42 HDTV

It is important to timbre match but not because "klipsch sound different than most other brands," but because most brands have different sound characteristics from each other.
