BBZink
Hi, i have a pair of laScala with crite type A crossover and i discover when i listened Genesis, selling england, that on bass note was missing due to crossover cut. Does the alk/slk? cut deeper in the bass? mainly what is the difference from crite to alk crossover? on the laScala? thanks for your help regards sorry if i mistype the alk/slk crossover, i had surf on the net, searching info, i guess i haven't the good name? regards
djk
All the different factory LaScala crossovers, and all the crossovers offered by forum members, have essentially the same response below about middle C on a piano. If you hear a difference in the bass, most likely something is wired wrong.
Groomlakearea51
And less one overlooks a really big factor... the room.... furniture, things that absorb or dampen sound, room geometry, etc can cause unwanted reflections, comb filtering, etc.
BBZink
So i guess i will put some snake oil on my crossover instead of paying for another crossover.... Enjoy!
