Mr5150
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYeT9gU8S10 And where can I get one? I'll try calling Kiipsch tomorrow. Thanks
jhoak
It's a capacitor. Looks to be 4.5uF 100 volt. Kind of an odd value. I did a quick look at Parts Express but didn't find a 4.5uF. You could get there by using a 3.0uF and a 1.5uF in parallel. http://www.parts-express.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?PartNumber=027-220http://www.parts-express.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?PartNumber=027-212 The catch with these parts is that you should probably replace the same caps in the other speaker at the same time. That way you'd be sure that they matched. If they were mine I'd take the opportunity to upgrade all of the caps in both crossovers. I don't know if Klipsch will sell and individual capacitor or not. More than likely they'll want to sell the complete crossover if it's still available.
djk
http://www.parts-express.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?PartNumber=027-230 The 'J' in the original part code means 5%, the 4.7µF 1% would be in spec. I would consider replacing the same cap in the other network while I was at it, the matching being more important than the absolue value.
